Job summary

KK Supermart, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to support daily store operations and customer service. You will handle merchandise receipts, stock replenishment, and maintain visual standards while working with a team.

Strong communication and reliability are essential, with opportunities for team leadership as experience grows. Candidate should have 1–3 years in retail, SPm/ Diploma, or equivalent; bachelor's degree is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience is an added advantage.
• Own transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient store activities.
• Receive, check, record, arrange, and return merchandise according to company procedures.
• Perform stock handling, inventory checking, replenishment, and proper merchandise arrangement.
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and good housekeeping throughout the store.
• Operate POS systems, store equipment, and machinery safely and according to established procedures.
• Safeguard company property, equipment, merchandise, and other store assets.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents to the relevant personnel.
• Maintain the store's standards, appearance, and overall customer experience.
• Uphold and represent the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.
