Job summary

KK Super Mart Jalan Ipoh (2) is hiring a Shop Assistant to support daily store operations, handle stock, and deliver friendly customer service in a busy retail outlet. You will manage merchandise, operate POS systems, and help maintain brand standards while following safety guidelines.

The role requires good communication, basic computer and POS skills, and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ownership of transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations and ensure smooth outlet activities.
• Receive, inspect, record, arrange, replenish, and return merchandise.
• Assist with stock management and inventory checking.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper store presentation.
• Operate POS systems and store equipment according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper care and security of company assets and merchandise.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist with emergencies and report incidents to the person in charge.
• Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain KK Supermart's brand image and service standards.
