Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) seeks a responsible Shop Assistant for KK Super Mart in Pudu to support daily store operations. You will handle stock, shelves, checkout, and customer inquiries while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The candidate should be customer-oriented with strong teamwork, good communication skills, and flexibility for shifts, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise is received, checked, recorded, arranged, and returned correctly.
• Maintain proper stock levels and assist with inventory-related activities.
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed.
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe for customers and staff.
• Operate POS systems and store equipment per procedures.
• Handle company property and assets with care.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and requests.
• Support store operations during promotions and peak periods.
• Report incidents promptly and follow safety guidelines.
• Help maintain KK Supermart’s positive image.
