Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) invites applications for a Shop Assistant at KK SUPER MART Jalan Pahang. The role focuses on daily store operations, stock handling, shelf replenishment, cashier duties, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

You will support customers, handle requests, report damages, and ensure professional representation of KK Super Mart. Candidates with 1–3 years retail experience, good communication skills, and willingness to work shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Candidates with supervisory experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and ensure the outlet runs smoothly.
• Receive, check, record, arrange, and return stocks and merchandise.
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Check merchandise condition and report damaged or incorrect items.
• Keep the store clean, neat, organized, and safe.
• Operate the cashier/POS system and store equipment according to company procedures.
• Take good care of company property, equipment, and store assets.
• Assist customers and provide friendly and helpful service.
• Handle customer requests and elevate issues when necessary.
• Follow store safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Represent KK Supermart professionally and maintain the company’s service standards.
