Job summary

KK Supermart in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to receive, stock, and merchandise products, operate POS systems, and deliver courteous service to customers. You will help maintain store cleanliness, assist with inventory checks, and report emergencies as needed.

The ideal candidate has SPM or diploma, 1–3 years retail experience with some supervisory exposure, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Retail experience 1–3 years with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods and handle inventory and merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
• Operate and handle all equipment and machines in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure the safety and proper care of store property and assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergencies appropriately and report them to relevant personnel.
