Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Management professional to support the Sales & Operations Manager in driving store performance across department stores, specialty stores and hypermarkets.

The role focuses on leading sales teams, monitoring KPIs, collaborating with franchise partners, and delivering a consistent brand experience while strengthening customer engagement and loyalty across assigned outlets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales & Operations Manager in driving sales performance and achieving targets across department stores, specialty stores and hypermarkets.
• Drive sales performance of assigned stores and ensure achievement of sales, productivity and operational KPIs.
• Work closely with franchise partners to support sales performance, promotions and business growth.
• Monitor store performance, market trends, competitor activities, promotions and customer feedback and provide regular updates.
• Identify sales opportunities and recommend actions to improve store performance.
• Work closely with department stores, specialty stores and hypermarkets to maximize sales opportunities, promotions and events.
• Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service and consistent brand experience across assigned stores.
• Drive customer engagement and clienteling to strengthen customer relationships and build long-term loyalty.
• Support store events, promotions and brand activations to drive customer traffic and sales.
• Work with franchise partners to support brand standards and customer experience.
• Lead, coach and motivate sales teams to improve productivity, performance and overall team effectiveness.
• Support the Sales & Operations Manager in managing and developing Area Supervisors and sales teams.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, selling skills, product knowledge and service standards across assigned stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor staff performance against KPIs, provide coaching and identify development needs.
• Work closely with the Sales & Operations Manager and Training team to support staff training and development.
• Support the Sales & Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations across assigned department stores, specialty stores and hypermarkets.
• Ensure proper stock management, replenishment, visual merchandising and counter/store presentation.
• Ensure stores comply with brand guidelines, operational procedures and department store requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with PICs and department stores, specialty stores and hypermarket management.
• Work closely with the Sales & Operations Manager to support franchise partners on operational, stock, VM and business matters.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Brand, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis and provide market insights and feedback to the Sales & Operations Manager.
• Support ad-hoc projects and business initiatives assigned by the Sales & Operations Manager or management.
