Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a Residential Business Development Sales Engineer to accelerate growth across Malaysia’s residential segment. You will develop strategic relationships with developers, M&E consultants, contractors, architects, and channel partners to influence specifications and secure sales for our home and distribution solutions.
You will combine technical knowledge with consultative selling to build a sustainable project pipeline and deliver profitable growth.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in business development, project sales, technical sales, or account management within residential construction or building solutions.
- Experience with property developers, M&E consultants, contractors, or architects is preferred.
- Ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic sales plans to drive growth in Malaysia’s residential segment.
- Identify and develop opportunities with developers, consultants, contractors, and architects.
- Influence project specifications at early stages and secure project wins.
- Promote Schneider Electric Home & Distribution and other residential energy solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline from lead to close.
- Collaborate with Distribution Sales, Marketing, and BU teams to win opportunities.
