Job summary

Schneider Electric Sabah seeks a Sales Engineer to drive growth across Sabah by managing channel partners including distributors, panel builders, dealers, retailers. You will develop opportunities, strengthen relationships, and help achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.

You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions, travel within Sabah as needed, and leverage knowledge of low voltage electrical products to grow market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of sales, channel management, business development, or project sales experience in electrical industry.
• Experience managing distributors, retailers, dealers, contractors, or panel builders preferred.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical products is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin and local dialects advantageous.
• Willing to travel frequently within Sabah.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop channel partners (distributors, panel builders, dealers, retailers, contractors) to drive sales growth.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and projects within Sabah.
• Build strong relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and channel partners to influence specifications and secure project wins.
• Drive sell-in/sell-out activities, campaigns, and customer engagement programs to improve channel performance.
• Expand POS coverage and strengthen retail channel presence in Sabah.
• Maintain active sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and update opportunities in CRM.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions and achieve business objectives.
