Job summary

Schneider Electric Industries (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Residential Business Development Sales Engineer to drive growth in the residential segment. You will develop relationships with property developers, M&E consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and channel partners to influence project specifications and secure sales.

You will combine technical knowledge with consultative selling to build a profitable project pipeline and deliver growth in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in business development or project sales in residential/building sectors.
• Experience with residential developers, M&E consultants, contractors, architects.
• Proven ability to generate project pipelines and close sales.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales plans to grow the residential market in Malaysia.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Influence specifications and positioning of Schneider Electric residential solutions.
• Manage tendering and promote Home & Distribution solutions.
• Maintain a healthy project pipeline from lead to closure.
• Deliver compelling presentations and technical proposals.
• Maintain CRM records and provide forecasts to management.
