Job summary

Sallewanlai Property Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and responsible Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential property in Cheras. The role emphasizes smooth operations, service standards, and strong resident relations.

The candidate will supervise staff, coordinate contractors, liaise with residents and committees, and assist with budgeting and reporting. Salary ranges RM4,000 to RM5,000 per month on a contract basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building, condominium or property management is required.
• Experience as Building Manager, Assistant Building Manager or Senior Building Executive is preferred.
• Good leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage day-to-day site operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall daily operations and management of the property.
• Supervise building staff, including maintenance, security and cleaning teams.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors, service providers and maintenance works.
• Liaise professionally with residents, JMB/MC members, vendors and relevant parties.
• Attend to complaints, operational issues and maintenance matters promptly.
• Ensure common areas, facilities and building systems are properly maintained.
• Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on outstanding works.
• Assist with budgeting, quotations, purchasing and operational expenditure.
• Prepare operational reports and updates for management and JMB/MC.
• Ensure compliance with building policies, safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Lead the site team and maintain a professional standard of service.
