Job summary

Globibo Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development Manager for Event Technology to drive new business and expand our client base in Malaysia. You will identify markets, approach senior decision-makers, and present tailored value propositions for translation, interpretation and training services.

Responsibilities include researching potential clients, attending industry events, sending proposals, negotiating quotations, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver winning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing/ Business Management.
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate sales (B2B) or project management.
• Must have knowledge in Event Technology.
• Great communication skills, Fluent English required to communicate with global clients.
• Ability to identify and address the specific needs of each individual customer.
• Highly motivated and independent with attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Researching organizations and industry players to identify new leads and potential new markets.
• Identifying the needs of other companies and their stakeholders/decision-makers.
• Contacting potential clients via email and cold calls with customized value offerings to establish rapport and set up meetings.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Horizontal sales outreach to new contacts from existing clients.
• Consistent outreach and building relationships with VIP clients.
• Meeting potential clients with proposals and industry updates.
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the companys products.
• Preparing quotations and negotiating effectively.
• Review technical requirements and determine feasibility/pricing.
• Supporting customers with project information.
• Establishing long-term support contracts through umbrella agreements for all services.
• Plan event resources and coordinate preparation.
• Communicate internally and externally for event planning.
• Supervisor onsite delivery of event logistics.
• Collaborate with our technical and subject experts across services, work with operations team.
