Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Remittance Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end payment processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance across domestic and international transfers.

You will coordinate with finance, IT and compliance teams, manage SLAs, drive process improvements, monitor systems, assist audits, and provide clear status updates to senior leadership while delivering exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Min. 3-4 years in payment processing, remittance ops or financial services, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, remittance workflows, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing SLAs and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Payment Processing & Authorization: Process and authorize domestic and international remittance transactions accurately and timely; oversee end-to-end remittance processing.
• Compliance & Exception Handling: Monitor internal controls and regulatory guidelines; resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build relationships with finance, compliance, IT, and customer service; liaise with external partners.
• SLA Management: Monitor SLAs and present performance reports; identify bottlenecks and improve compliance.
• Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Escalate complex issues and coordinate with teams for timely resolution.
• System Monitoring & Escalation: Oversee system monitoring; coordinate with IT and vendors for outages.
• Process Improvement: Review workflows and promote automation and innovations.
• Audit Coordination: Prepare documentation for audits and address findings.
