Job summary

OCBC invites applications for a Remittance Operations role based in Kuala Lumpur. The position involves processing domestic and international remittance transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage end-to-end remittance workflows, oversee audits, and coordinate with compliance, IT, and external partners. The role requires 3–4 years in payment processing/remittance with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, plus strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years in payment processing or remittance operations with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, remittance workflows, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing SLAs and driving process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and authorize domestic and international remittance transactions accurately and timely.
• Oversee end-to-end remittance processing activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct verification and reconciliation of payment records to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of payment systems and industry best practices.
• Monitor compliance and implement corrective actions with compliance teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and payment gateways to ensure smooth remittance operations.
• Prepare regular performance reports to senior management and manage SLAs.
