Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Remittance Operations Lead to manage end-to-end payment processing, ensuring timely, accurate remittance transactions in line with AML and regulatory standards.

The role requires 3-4 years in remittance or payments with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Based in Malaysia, the position offers competitive salary and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in payment processing/remittance operations, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, remittance workflows, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing SLAs and driving process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in payment processing software and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Process and authorize domestic and international remittance transactions accurately and timely.
• Oversee end-to-end remittance processing activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and AML policies; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and compliance teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage SLAs for remittance processing and report performance to senior management.
• Act as escalation point for complex customer issues related to remittance processing.
• Coordinate system monitoring and address outages with IT and vendors.
• Drive continuous improvements and automation in workflows; support audit activities.
