Job summary

OCBC e2 Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Payments Operations specialist to manage remittance processing, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work with finance, IT, and compliance teams to deliver timely solutions and maintain high SLA performance.

The role requires 3+ years in process operations, strong analytical skills, and a track record of driving process improvements within financial services.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in process management, operations, or a related field.
• Proven track record of process improvement and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with process mapping tools and techniques, such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Process and authorize domestic and international remittance transactions accurately and timely.
• Oversee end-to-end remittance processing activities.
• Ensure payments comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct verification and reconciliation of payment records.
• Maintain knowledge of payment systems and industry practices.
• Monitor and manage SLA compliance for remittance processing.
• Resolve complex customer issues related to remittance processing.
• Coordinate with IT and vendor teams for system issues and outages.
• Collaborate with compliance to mitigate risks.
