Job summary

OCBC Malaysia seeks an experienced professional to lead remittance processing, ensure compliance with AML and regulatory standards, and partner with finance, IT and compliance teams. You will oversee end‑to‑end workflows, monitor SLAs, and resolve complex payment issues.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement to support the bank's payments business in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or related field.
• 3–4 years in payment processing/remittance, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Solid knowledge of payment systems, AML, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and authorize domestic and international remittance transactions accurately and on time.
• Oversee end-to-end remittance processing activities and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure payments comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform verification and reconciliation of payment records.
• Monitor internal controls, regulatory guidelines, and AML standards.
• Collaborate with finance, compliance, IT and customer service teams; report status to leadership.
• Manage SLAs and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
