Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities and supplier relationships. The role focuses on sourcing, purchasing, order fulfilment and delivery within established authority, with emphasis on cost and quality control.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and 1–2 years of procurement experience, or fresh graduates with internships. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's degree or higher in procurement, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain experience preferred, manufacturing/engineering background a plus.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing to delivery.
• Identify and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, availability and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Process purchase requisitions and orders within approved authority.
• Monitor orders and follow up for timely delivery.
• Manage supplier performance and resolve quality/delivery issues.
• Coordinate procurement with internal teams and changes in specs.
• Develop procurement processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Maintain procurement records and related documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement.
• Perform other procurement duties and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Our client is an well establish established technology and manufacturing solutions company with operations in Malaysia. The company is looking for a Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities, supplier relationships, and order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing and purchasing to order fulfilment and delivery
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, availability and delivery performance
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions with suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders within the approved purchasing authority
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Manage supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery and material specifications
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers on procurement requirements and specification changes
• Develop and coordinate procurement processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and related documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
• Perform other procurement-related duties and ad-hoc assignments when required

Key Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any related discipline
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain, preferable with Manufacturing, Engineering relevant industries
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers
