USAHA DEWI SDN BHD are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract compliance, and project profitability from tender stage through to final account.
Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender documents.
Manage project budgets, cost planning, and cash flow.
Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Administer construction contracts and provide contractual advice.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs and prepare monthly commercial reports.
Manage subcontractor payments and contract administration.
Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, and subcontractors.
Mentor and supervise junior Quantity Surveyors where required.
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in building, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, tendering, and procurement.
Experience with progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with QS software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
