Job summary

Seamaster Paint (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle costing, tender preparation, and contract documentation for diverse projects. Responsibilities include valuing completed work, monitoring subcontractors, and coordinating payments through monthly reports.

The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and experience in QS activities, with proficiency in Malay and English, and a team-oriented, hardworking attitude.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or higher required.
• Experience as QS in the field.
• Fluent in Malay and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare costing and pricing for tenders and projects.
• Prepare tender and contract documents including Bill of Quantities.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Monitor subcontractors' progress.
• Record weekly meeting minutes for Shah Alam project department.
• Update Branch Manager on monthly progress payment collection and ageing deductions for tender projects.
• Attend tender interviews, site visits, site valuations/measurements, and regular meetings.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Management.

Job description

To prepare and analyzing costing/pricing for tender or project quotation

To prepare tender and contract documents, including Bill of Quantities (BQ)

Valuing completed work and arranging payment

Monitoring sub-contractor's progress of work

Doing weekly meeting minutes for Shah Alam's project department

To update and report to Branch Manager for monthly progress payment collection and ageing deduction for tender projects

Attend and join tender interview, site visit, site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary

Any other tasks as directed by Management

Education/Qualification : Diploma in Quantity Surveying & above

Experience : QS field

Melayu and fair in English , easy suitable of work place, can work under

pressure friendly, hardworking, fast leaner, active person and able to

work in team.

Skills : Good Analytical and Interpersonal skill & Self motivated
