Tialoc Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost estimation, BOQ preparation and post-contract administration for civil, structural and MEP projects. You will engage with subcontractors, evaluate quotations, and prepare reports for award recommendations while ensuring cost control across projects.

The role requires 2+ years in QS, with a willingness to travel and a background in M&E as an advantage. Fresh graduates may apply for junior roles.

Qualificações

• Diploma/ Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying in construction or project-based industry.
• Experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveying is an added advantage; candidates with ME background encouraged.
• Possess a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
• Willingness to travel as and when required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for junior positions.

Responsabilidades

• Taking off, pricing and submission of tenders.
• Source for subcontractors/suppliers. Produce and send enquiries to subcontractors inviting them to tender and engage with procurement.
• Receive and analyze quotations, liaising with the team regarding price, proven history, availability etc.
• Prepare BOQ and tender document/proposal, pre & post contract administration.
• Attend tenders clarification, analysis and negotiation.
• Prepare tender reports and award recommendation.
• Prepare and/or evaluate change orders, review and evaluate progress of work done.
• Carry out payment certification and prepare final accounts.
• Perform budget cost planning, interim forecast, monitor and control project cost.
• Any other duties may be assigned by supervisor/management from time to time

Job Requirements:

Diploma/ Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management or equivalent
