Job summary

San Niche Interior seeks a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role focuses on project costing, procurement, subcontractor management and cost control within interior fit-out and construction projects.

Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds or 1–3 years of relevant experience are welcome. Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are valued, and travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, construction or interior fit-out projects is preferred
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply
• Experience in interior fit-out, renovation or commercial/retail projects will be an advantage
• Good understanding of quantity take-off, costing, quotation comparison and cost control
• Familiar with variation orders, progress claims and subcontractor management
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office will be an added advantage
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently
• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills
• Able to communicate and write in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Chinese-speaking candidates are required as the role involves frequent communication with Chinese-speaking clients, contractors and suppliers
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites when required
• Candidates who are able to start work immediately will have an added advantage
• Must have full working rights in Malaysia
