Job summary

Kinetic Builders Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support infrastructure projects. You will review drawings, quantify materials, and prepare cost estimates.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, knowledge of pre/post contract processes, and the ability to manage multiple sites while ensuring cost control and timely variation handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• 2–4 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying in construction (infrastructure).
• Knowledge in Pre and Post Contract process.
• Experience with AutoCAD and validating quantities from drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with negotiation abilities.

• Understanding the client requirement and quantities taking off
• Cost estimation and preparation of variation order
• Manage the valuation of work done and handle claims and variations
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claim, sub-contractors claims, final accounts
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process
• Attend site meeting / valuation
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Job description

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying

2 to 4 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying in the construction (infrastructure field)

Knowledge in Pre and Post Contract process

Experience working with Autocad and validating quantities from the given drawings

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with negotiation abilities
