is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Malaysia. The role covers quantity surveying, tendering, cost control, payment certification, variation management, and other commercial activities across the project lifecycle. This position welcomes fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years of experience who want to develop their career in construction and quantity surveying.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-off from drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Source, obtain, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare quotation comparison and tender evaluation reports.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, budgets, and cost variations.
• Assist in preparing Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), Variation Orders (VO), and Final Accounts.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other relevant parties on commercial matters.
• Assist in cost control and ensure proper commercial documentation throughout the project.
• Prepare cost reports, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Perform other quantity surveying and commercial duties as assigned by the superior.

K.I. Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in quantity surveying, tendering, cost control, payment certification, variation management, and other commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates as well as candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who are looking to develop their career in the construction and quantity surveying field.

Key Responsibilities

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
