Job summary

Austin Johor Bahru MRD, Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, seeks a quality assurance professional to strengthen the QA team. The role centers on maintaining the QMS, ensuring material and product quality, and supporting quality issues with customers and suppliers.

You will lead investigations into non-conformities, coordinate internal audits for HACCP, GMP, and related standards, and act as the primary contact for external auditors. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred for partner communications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and business partners on quality-related matters.
• Maintain, review, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that raw materials and finished products comply with food safety and quality standards.
• Handle customer complaints and lead investigations and corrective actions related to quality and food safety issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and certification bodies.
• Oversee food safety documentation and coordinate internal audits in compliance with standards such as HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, and Halal.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
