Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a prominent manufacturer of Traditional Chinese Medicine products, seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to ensure GMP-compliant operations across production and QA tasks.

The role involves updating SOPs, maintaining GMP records, overseeing QC programs, CAPA actions, supplier evaluations, and internal GMP training. A degree/diploma in a related field with at least 3 years of experience, plus fluency in English and Malay, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Food Technology/Nutrition/Science/Biology/Chemistry with minimum 3 years in related field.
• Ability to train others and deliver GMP training.
• Good understanding of GMP and HALAL.

Responsibilities

• Update and review SOPs, work instructions and quality documents.
• Maintain GMP records (BMRs, IPC forms, SOPs, logbooks, internal forms).
• Execute, monitor and validate adherence to quality control programs.
• Implement and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify CAPA.
• Approve final product release in Quality Manager's absence.
• Revise SOPs for safety and cross-contamination prevention.
• Monitor lab tests (IPQC/FPQC) and ensure materials meet specs.
• Approve and release finished products.
• Periodically evaluate supplier performance.
• Handle internal GMP training for operators and QC staff.
• Address escalated issues with solutions.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We are representing our Client, a prominent manufacturer of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) products. Their business operations cover the manufacturing and distribution of medical products, emphasising customer-focused product development and responsiveness to market trends.

Job Description:

• Ensure periodic updates and reviews of SOPs, work instructions, and other quality documents.
• Maintain GMP records such as BMRs, IPC forms, SOPs, logbooks, and internal forms for production.
• Execute, monitor, and validate adherence to quality control programs and procedures.
  
• Implement and track corrective and preventive actions internally and externally.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Approve final product release in the Quality Managers absence.
• Revise and implement SOPs for safety, minimizing cross-contamination.
  
• Monitor lab tests (IPQC/FPQC).
• Ensure raw, excipient, and packaging materials meet specifications.
• Approve and release finished products.
• Periodically evaluate supplier performance.
• Handle internal audits, product complaints, and resolutions.
• Conduct internal GMP training for operators and QC staff.
• Address and escalat**e** issues with solutions.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree /Diploma in Food Technology/Nutrition/Science/Biologist/Chemistry, with minimum 3 years in the related field is required for this position.
• Required language(s): English, Malay, Mandari
• Able to work independently, multi-task and collaborate well with other team-members
• Good understanding in GMP and HALAL.
• Previous experience in training delivery and quality assurance is preferred
