New Zealand Food Industry Sdn Bhd in Semenyih, Malaysia is seeking a quality control professional to perform inspections across materials, in-process, and finished products. You will ensure GMP, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed and document all results.
The role requires 1–2 years in food manufacturing or quality control, with knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations, and strong communication skills to coordinate with production teams and handle complaints.
i. Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process production and finished products.
ii. Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
iii.Perform routine quality checks, sampling and testing according to company procedure.
iv.Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene and sanitation standards are implemented and maintained.
v. Record and maintain QC inspection reports, test results and related documentation accurately.
vi.Identify non-conformance products and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
vii.Monitor cleanliness and hygiene practices in production and storage areas.
viii. Liaise with production teams to resolve quality related issues.
ix. Ensure compliance with HACCP, Halal, ISO and other food safety requirements where applicable.
x.Verify product labelling, packaging and specifications meet company and regulatory standards.
xi.Assist in handling customer complaints and product investigations when required.
xii.Maintain calibration and proper usage of quality inspection equipment.
xiii.Perform other quality control duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior or management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in food manufacturing or quality control environment.
Knowledge in HACCP, GMP, Food safety regulations, interpersonal skills, good communication and problem-solving skill
