Job summary

Lavo Selangor Sdn. Bhd. seeks a QA/Operations auditor to ensure timely restaurant audits and evaluate performance against standards. You will build strong relationships with restaurant managers, communicate findings, and drive operational improvements through visits and coaching.

You will review HACCP documentation, lead the HACCP team to maintain certifications, and coordinate with the QA manager on regulatory issues while assisting supervisors on quality matters.

Qualifications

• Good observation and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in English; Chinese reading/writing is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant audits are completed on time and within timelines.
• Evaluate restaurant performance against operation and quality standards.
• Establish strong working relationships with restaurant managers and provide ongoing communication.
• Influence operations priorities through evaluations.
• Provide ongoing support to drive improvements in operations (visits, coaching).
• Communicate restaurant performance to supervisors timely.
• Investigate and handle food safety-related customer complaints.
• Review HACCP documentation and lead the HACCP team to maintain certifications.
• Coordinate with QA manager to follow up on regulatory issues.
• Assist supervisor in all aspects of quality issues.

Job description

1. Ensure restaurants audit are completed on time and within specified timelines.
2. Evaluating restaurant performance against operation and quality standards.
3. Establish a strong working relationship with restaurant managers, providing effective and ongoing communication.
4. Influence restaurant managers on operations priorities through ongoing analysis of evaluations.
5. Provide ongoing support to drive improvement in operations (restaurant visits and team coaching).
6. Communicate restaurants performance with superior on timely basis.
7. Investigate and handle food safety related customer complaint.
8. Review and update HACCP documentations and lead the HACCP team to ensure HACCP certifications are maintained.
9. Coordinate with QA manager to assure proper follow up on all regulatory issues (complaints, audit and request for information).
10. To assist superior in all aspect of quality issues, including monitoring and follow up.

Skills Requirement

• Good observation and troubleshooting skill
• Proficient in English. Ability to speak and read/write Chinese is an added advantage.
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Degree holder in Food Science/ Food Technology or related discipline. Preferably with 1 year working experience in the food industry / restaurant. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Possess own transportation will be an added advantage.
