Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA/QC function across manufacturing, ensuring products meet highest quality, safety and regulatory standards.

You will drive audits, certifications, supplier quality programs and continuous improvement while partnering with Production, R&D, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of QA experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and QC across manufacturing operations.
• Drive compliance with international food safety and quality standards.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance product quality and safety.
• Lead audits with certification bodies, customers, and regulators and close findings.
• Develop supplier quality programs including supplier qualification and evaluation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
• Ensure laboratory testing is accurate, reliable and audit-ready.
• Lead and develop a high-performing QA team and foster a culture of quality.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams to meet objectives.
• Deliver outstanding product quality performance and regulatory compliance.

We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA function and play a critical role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards. What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and oversee the entire Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across the manufacturing operations.
• Drive compliance with international food safety and quality standards, including: FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) and ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Accreditation
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational performance.
• Lead all external certification, customer, and regulatory audits while ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
• Develop and strengthen supplier quality management programs, including supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Serve as the key liaison with regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
• Ensure laboratory operations consistently deliver accurate, reliable, and audit-ready testing results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing QA team while fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Partner closely with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial teams to achieve business objectives.
• Delivering outstanding product quality performance
• Maintaining full compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements
• Successfully passing certification and customer audits
• Ensuring laboratory accuracy under ISO/IEC 17025 standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of QA experience in the Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO standards, and food regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing customer, certification, supplier, and regulatory audits.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, SAP, and TQM is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, team development, and driving a quality culture.
