Job summary

Keong Kee Seafood Supply Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to uphold HACCP, GMP, MeSTI and Halal standards across operations in Malaysia. The role emphasizes documentation, audits and maintaining certification readiness to ensure safe seafood handling and storage.

The successful candidate will coordinate with laboratories, certification bodies, suppliers and authorities, and support export documentation including GACC China requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Animal Science, Food Safety, Quality Assurance or related field.
• Preferably 2+ years of QA/QC or food safety experience.
• Experience in seafood, food supply, handling or aquaculture is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, MeSTI and Halal requirements.
• Experience in maintaining food safety certifications and preparing for audits is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GACC China export requirements will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the company's HACCP, GMP, MeSTI and Halal systems and requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper food safety, hygiene, handling, storage and temperature control practices.
• Maintain QA documentation, records, SOPs, checklists and traceability records.
• Monitor compliance with established food safety and quality procedures.
• Assist in internal and external audits, inspections and certification requirements.
• Follow up on non-conformities, corrective actions and improvement activities.
• Coordinate food/seafood sampling and laboratory testing when required.
• Review relevant test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
• Liaise with suppliers, laboratories, certification bodies and relevant authorities when required.
• Assist with seafood export documentation and GACC China export requirements.
