Job summary

Baba Products (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a quality control professional to perform IPQC inspections across multiple production lines. You will monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and document results promptly, while collecting samples for QC laboratory testing.

The role requires a Bachelor in Science or equivalent with 0–2 years in QC; fresh graduates are welcome. Willingness to work in shifts and support continual improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of quality control and testing experience is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates can also apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform IPQC inspections at all manufacturing facilities: F1, F2, F3 and F4.
• Monitor cleanliness on production floor, machinery, equipment and utensils.
• Monitor worker hygiene and document results promptly.
• Accurately document inspection results on time.
• Collect and send samples to QC laboratory promptly.
• Report deviations to QC Executive/HOD immediately.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance checks for QC instruments.
• Support safety and quality control procedures within IPQC inspections.
• Undertake additional tasks to support continual improvement of the Food Safety and Quality Management System.

Perform inspections, checks, tests to evaluate raw materials, in-process and finished goods. Plan production based on Production Department requirements.

Job Description (List of task carried out)

• Conduct in-process quality control (IPQC) inspection at all manufacturing facilities: F1, F2, F3 and F4.
• Monitor and ensure cleanliness at production floor, machineries, equipment and utensils.
• Monitor worker’s hygiene & document the results on-timely manner.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections on-timely manner.
• Collect and send the samples to QC laboratory on-timely manner.
• Responsible in reporting immediately to QC Executive/HOD any deviation or abnormalities detected in-process and daily monitioring process in manufacturing facilities
• Assist in checking and updating QC Executive on maintenance and calibration for QC measuring instruments and gauges to ensure optimum functionality.
• Assist in checking and improving safety and quality control procedures within IPQC inspection.
• Perform all other duties maybe assigned to support continual improvement of Food Safety and Quality Management System i.e: undertaking short-term or long-term.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent.
• 1-2 year(s) of working experience in quality control and testing in any field is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates also can apply.

Skill Requirements

• Sufficient knowledge of inspection and monitoring processes.
• Must be hardworking, trustworthy, meticulous, responsible and with good team-working skills.
• Can work with minimum supervision.
• Must have good English written and verbal communication.
• Good arithmetic skills are required.
• Punctuality, reliable and willing to work in shift.
• Required to work safely, within the organization standard policies and procedures ie: Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Self-motivated to learn fast and ability to prioritize workloads and complete on-time.
