Job description
Responsibilities
Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards and measuring dimensions.
Checking that the processing method adheres to standards and procedures and complying with government requirements.
Reviewing specifications to compare to produced goods.
Recording inspection results by completing reports, wastes and inputting data into quality database.
Proposing improvements to the production process.
Monitoring the use of method to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
To carry out quality control activities by performing quality control check on incoming, final and outgoing inspection for raw materials, semi‑finished goods and finished goods.
To perform label and packaging activities for all the finished goods.
Highlight quality defect to head of department and respective departments whenever is necessary.
To prepare and update QC inspection records.
Must adhere to all the written and verbal instructions given by supervisors, managers, and head of department at all times.
Responsible to maintain work area clean, safe, and well‑organized.
Perform other related duties assigned from time to time by head of department.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Food Technologies or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Must have typhoid injection card.
Must be willing to do shift work.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to tolerate working in an environment that contains flour dust.
