Job summary

Microtronics Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Management System (QMS) coordinator to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, support internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement across processes.

You will lead document control, ECO management, and training for new hires in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a diploma or degree in any discipline, at least 3 years in quality systems, and knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in any relevant engineering or non-engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in quality systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485; experience in IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• LEAN Six Sigma knowledge preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

• Manage Company management system for quality, environmental, health and safety etc.
• Assist QMR on coordination and implementation of QMS activities (internal/external audits).
• Plan and coordinate yearly management review meetings and prepare minutes.
• Lead internal audit activities and coordinate with 3rd parties for audit schedules and CAR closures.
• Support customer and product safety audits and respond to CARs.
• Ensure procedures comply with ISO9001 and other standard requirements.
• Lead documentation review and manage Document Control Section and ECO uploads.
• Provide QMS induction training for new recruits and assist in special company projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to manage Company management system for quality, environmental, health and safety, automotive, etc.
• Assist QMR on coordination and implementation of QMS activities, e.g. management review, internal audits and external audits.
• Plan and coordinate yearly management review meeting with management and internal team, and prepare the meeting minutes after the review.
• Plan, lead and coordinate internal audit activities, e.g. meeting with internal auditor to discuss the audit plan, compile internal audit report, review CAR with QMR, verify effectiveness of CAR action and closure, etc.
• Plan schedule and coordinate internal team based on the audit schedule, e.g. liaise with 3rd parties for audit schedule, coordinate with internal team to ensure the audit CAR until closure, etc.
• Support for Customer Audit and Product Safety audit, e.g. perform audit; liaise with 3rd party (if any), respond CAR for non-conformances, etc.
• Ensure 1st and 2nd level procedures are complied with ISO9001 standard and other standard requirements.
• Lead periodical documentation review activity.
• Manage Document Control Section to ensure proper control of controlled documentation, e.g. smooth issuance, retrieval and obsolete, proper documentation filing, up-to-date masterlists, retain masterlist, etc.
• Manage Document Control Section to ensure correctness of ECO upload, up-to-date ECO accordance retention requirements.
• Provide QMS related induction training for new recruits, up-keep the training materials.
• Participate in any special projects/programs as and when assigned by the Company.
