Job summary

Shinmax Products Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Management professional to develop, implement and maintain our QMS compliant with ISO 9001-2015. You will lead the QA team, oversee product and process quality, and coordinate internal and external audits.

You will also approve finished products, document inspection results, and drive continuous improvements to meet quality, function and reliability targets before delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• ISO 9001 experience and lead auditor preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing quality role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QMS to ISO 9001-2015.
• Manage QA team and oversee audits (internal and external).
• Approve finished products and verify specifications.
• Document inspection results and summarize rework/waste.
• Maintain safe, compliant work environment per ISO requirements.
• Drive processes to ensure product quality, function and reliability.
• Communicate quality standards to teams and stakeholders.
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate annual QMS audit reporting to management.
• Liaise with internal/external parties on ISO 9001 requirements.
• Oversee production activities to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

1) Responsible to develop, implement and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) compliance to industry ISO 9001-2015.

2) Manage QA team, oversee product/process quality, ISO external and internal audit.

3) Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

4) Documents inspection results by completing reports; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

5) Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedure; complying with legal regulations, ISO 9001 QMS requirements.

6) Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure the products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

7) Communicates quality standards and parameters to team members, product development team, and other appropriate staff.

8) Identifies and analyses issues, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.

9) Manage, coordinate, report the annual QMS audit result to the Management and HODs.

10) Liaise with internal and external parties on the ISO 9001 QMS requirements.

11) Responsible for production functions and activities in meeting productivity, yield, quality and cost targets.

12) Performs other duties as assigned by Superior from time to time.

Job Specification:

Min. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline,additional certifications in quality management (like Six Sigma or Lean) and substantial work experience are often preferred.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing environment/related field, ISO lead auditor will have added advantage

Required Skills: Analyze information, reporting research results, documentation skills, promoting process improvement, safety management, managing processes, manufacturing methods and procedures, support innovation, CAD, quality engineering, operations research.

Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Able to identify hazard and propose risk control measure.
