Job summary

WTEC SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Executive to monitor and maintain product quality across the foam manufacturing process, coordinate inspections and testing, and drive corrective actions.

You will support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems, participate in APQP/PPAP, and lead quality improvement projects while guiding QC staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Science or related field.
• 3–5 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems; exposure to IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC or MSA is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills; team and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain product quality across the manufacturing process.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality problems.
• Handle customer complaints and drive effective solutions.
• Support quality planning activities and process improvements.

Job description

This is a QA/QC Executive position in the foam manufacturing industry. You will monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process, perform and coordinate inspection and testing activities, and investigate quality issues to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process

Perform and coordinate inspection and testing activities

Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

Handle customer complaints and drive effective solutions

Support APQP, PPAP, new product development, and process improvement activities

Monitor quality KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement

Ensure measuring instruments and equipment are calibrated and verified according to schedule

Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management system requirements

Guide and support QC personnel in daily quality activities

About you

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Science or related field

Minimum 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems

Exposure to IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC or MSA is an added advantage

Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills

Able to work independently and work well in a team

Exposure to quality management systems and customer quality requirements

Hands-on involvement in quality improvement projects
