Job description

Responsible for overseeing internal and external quality issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing customer and internal complaints. Ensures effective in-process quality documentation and compliance with quality procedures, while leading and supervising the quality inspection team to maintain high product standards.

1. Responsible for preparing quality reports on potential or actual product and process abnormalities.
2. Analyze measurement data to identify abnormalities, detect trends, and predict potential issues.
3. Manage customer complaints related to non-conformities in the painting process and ensure timely resolution and feedback within the agreed timeframe.
4. Investigate customer feedback and complaints to determine root causes and address customer requirements, needs, and expectations.
5. Participate in resolving internal and external quality issues and complaints.
6. Review issues identified during routine sampling, determine root causes, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
7. Ensure all actions outlined in CPAR reports are executed and evaluate their effectiveness in a timely manner.
8. Verify and confirm non-conforming parts.
9. Develop and maintain SOPs, inspection standards, and check sheets related to product operations and processes.
10. Ensure inspections and testing are conducted promptly and in accordance with customer requirements and the quality control system.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in an Engineering-related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience for Diploma holders; fresh graduates with an Engineering Degree are encouraged to apply.
3. Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5W1H, Why-Why Analysis, and Ishikawa Diagram.
4. Strong analytical thinking skills, with a hands‑on approach and creativity in problem‑solving.
5. Experience in dealing directly with suppliers and customers.
6. Certification as an internal auditor and experience in conducting supplier audits will be an added advantage.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
8. Proficiency in quality management tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and other related tools.
9. Familiarity with measurement equipment and tools (e.g., calipers, height gauges, CMM, gloss meters, etc.).
