Job summary

Sweet Home Candied Products Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional to perform in-process quality inspections on the production floor in a food manufacturing setting. You will monitor GMP, hygiene and food safety practices while ensuring accurate records and labeling compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of QA/QC experience in FMCG/food manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of QA/QC experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO, or FSSC 22000 standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Skilled in quality testing, SOPs, and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality inspections and monitor production processes.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished products.
• Perform basic quality checks (appearance, color, texture, weight, pH, moisture, Brix, and other specs).
• Verify product identification, batch details, raw material usage and labeling accuracy.
• Identify and report quality issues and non-conformances to supervisor.
• Assist in product segregation, on-hold control and release verification.
• Ensure QA/QC records and reports are completed accurately.
• Monitor GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, Halal and food safety compliance on the production floor.
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in production areas.
• Maintain QA/QC records, specifications, reports and related documents.

Job description

This role involves performing in-process quality inspections during production in a food manufacturing environment, monitoring GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices on the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality inspections and monitor production processes
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and finished products
• Conduct basic quality checks such as product appearance, color, texture, weight, PH, moisture, Brix and other relevant specifications
• Verify product identification, batch details, raw material usage and labelling accuracy
• Identify and report quality issues, abnormalities and non-conformances to the immediate superior
• Assist in product segregation, on-hold control and product release verification
• Ensure quality inspection results and records are completed accurately
• Monitor production areas to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal & food safety requirements
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness practices in the production area
• Maintain QA/QC records, specifications, reports and other related documents

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector
