Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced QA/QC professional to manage the Quality Management System and daily quality operations across incoming, in-process, outgoing and customer quality.

Lead root cause analyses and CAPA, ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance, and drive continuous improvement in yield, defect reduction and reliability. Supervisory experience required; strong analytical skills preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years in QA/QC within EMS or electronic components.
• 3+ years in a supervisory, team lead or assistant managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Responsabilidades

• Manage QMS and daily quality operations across incoming, in-process, outgoing and customer quality.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective/preventive actions.
• Handle customer complaints, audit findings and quality escalations with timely resolution.
• Monitor supplier quality and drive supplier improvement.
• Support audits and keep operations audit-ready.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, NPI and Supply Chain to embed quality in manufacturing.

Help manage the Quality Management System and daily quality operations across incoming, in-process, outgoing and customer quality.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards and applicable regulations.

Lead initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield and strengthen product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Run root cause analyses and corrective and preventive actions for internal and external issues.

Handle customer complaints, audit findings and quality escalations with timely resolution and follow-up.

Monitor supplier quality and work with suppliers on continuous improvement.

Support internal, customer and certification audits and keep operations audit-ready.

Analyze quality KPIs, process capability, yield and trends to find improvement opportunities.

Work with Production, Engineering, NPI and Supply Chain to build quality into manufacturing processes.

Lead, coach and develop quality staff and promote continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

At least 5 years in QA/QC within EMS or electronic components, including 3 years in a supervisory, team lead or assistant managerial role.

Strong QMS knowledge, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with hands-on experience in IQC, IPQC, OQC, customer quality, supplier quality and NPI quality.

Proficiency in 8D, RCCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis.

Experience managing customer complaints, escalations, audit findings and corrective actions, and familiarity with customer, internal, supplier and certification audits.

Strong analytical skills for interpreting quality data, with experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, process quality control and continuous improvement projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, Manufacturing or a related field
