Job summary

Chin Hin Group Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Purchasing Executive to identify, evaluate, and develop local and international vendors, ensuring a reliable supply of raw materials and components.

You will manage the full purchasing cycle from RFQ and price negotiation to PO issuance and delivery follow-up, evaluate supplier performance for quality and on-time delivery, ensure ISO compliance, and handle international shipments, customs clearance, and Incoterms.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing or a related field.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and other office software.
• Understanding of and exposed to ISO standards and requirements is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international vendors to ensure a reliable pipeline of raw materials and components.
• Manage the full purchasing cycle - from RFQ and price negotiation to Purchase Order issuance and delivery follow-up.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality compliance and on-time delivery.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, ISO standards and internal regulations.
• Manage international shipment, including customs clearance, tracking import documentation, and navigating Incoterms.
