Job summary

GWE Group of Companies is seeking a logistics professional in Malaysia to conduct supplier sourcing, evaluate and select suppliers, and manage end-to-end shipment planning and stock control. The role involves coordinating import/export shipments, liaising with carriers, and ensuring timely clearance of documents.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, at least 5 years in FMCG, and strong multitasking, communication, and leadership abilities.

• 5+ years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing, evaluate and select new supplier
• Communicate and maintain good relationship with suppliers
• Planning & Monitoring of shipment schedule
• Review, control and monitor stock inventory to avoid zero stock and excess stock
• Coordinate import & export shipments – Sea freight & Air freight
• Liaise with carriers for quotation/booking confirmation
• Follow-up on shipping documents and submission for clearance
• Handle and troubleshoot shipment issues independently
• Knowledge of procurement practices, import/export regulations, and logistics management

Conduct sourcing, evaluate and select new supplier

Communicate and maintain good relationship with suppliers

Planning & Monitoring of shipment schedule

To review, control and monitor stock inventory in order to avoid zero stock and excess stock situation

Coordinate import & export shipments – Sea freight & Air freight

Liaise with carriers for the Quotation/booking confirmation

Follow-up on the shipping documents and submit for clearance

To handle & troubleshoot any issue related to shipments independently.

Knowledge of procurement practices, import/export regulations, and logistics management

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Logistic/Supply Chain Management or any other equivalent

Must have experience in FMCG Industry

At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field

Apart from proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency in a third language is an advantage as the role requires direct communication with international mainly China's clients.
