A catering service company in Kajang is seeking a candidate for a procurement role. Responsibilities include managing supplier inquiries and orders, ensuring shipment logistics, and maintaining accurate stock control. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field, along with 3-5 years of related experience. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, as well as proficiency in English and Mandarin, will be beneficial for effective supplier communication. This position requires working 5.5 days a week, offering a dynamic work environment.

Responsabilidades

Responsibilities

• Outsourcing - Send out enquiry form to supplier to order / purchase items and follow up the purchase status
• Working closely with supplier representatives on ensuring cost effectiveness in all products lines
• Compare between product pricing and specifications, as well as payment terms
• Handle the order purchase, oversea shipment, stock control (documentation)
• Perform and juggle the following job scopes (Quotation, PO, Delivery Schedule and Invoice)
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery; pursue suppliers for undelivered goods
• Maintain Procurement & Admin Filling System
• Arrange emergency task and coordinate to resolve hiccup
• Handle the administrative aspect to ensure smooth, efficient and effective overall logistics
• Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, bills, maintenance)
• Liaise with the authorities to ensure the company licenses are updated
• To monitor & carry out weekly, monthly physical stock count and report to immediate superior for variance with reason

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in related field or its equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Independent, self-starter and thrive in fast pace and dynamic environment
• Strong logical thinking, analytical, and good follow up skills
• 5.5 Days/ week (Mon to Friday: 8am - 5pm & Sat 8am - 12pm (work from home))
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin will be an added advantage for effective communication with suppliers
