Job summary

A catering service company in Kajang is seeking a candidate for a procurement role. Job description

Responsibilities

• Outsourcing - Send out enquiry form to supplier to order / purchase items and follow up the purchase status
• Working closely with supplier representatives on ensuring cost effectiveness in all products lines
• Compare between product pricing and specifications, as well as payment terms
• Handle the order purchase, oversea shipment, stock control (documentation)
• Perform and juggle the following job scopes (Quotation, PO, Delivery Schedule and Invoice)
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery; pursue suppliers for undelivered goods
• Maintain Procurement & Admin Filling System
• Arrange emergency task and coordinate to resolve hiccup
• Handle the administrative aspect to ensure smooth, efficient and effective overall logistics
• Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, bills, maintenance)
• Liaise with the authorities to ensure the company licenses are updated
• To monitor & carry out weekly, monthly physical stock count and report to immediate superior for variance with reason

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in related field or its equivalent
