Job summary

IOI Corporation Berhad is seeking an SCM professional in Kuala Lumpur to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations. The role emphasizes cost optimization, inventory control, and supplier network expansion across regional and international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management/administration or supply chain management, or relevant logistics experience.
• Experience in supply chain management with regional and international companies is preferred.
• Strong analytical background in manufacturing or engineering operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support operations with cost optimization, price controls, inventory management and zero stoppages.
• Identify, evaluate, shortlist and expand supplier networks locally and overseas; maintain cost-effective supply chain resources.
• Manage and develop the SCM team and ensure ongoing support for processes.
• Improve SOPs for Procurement, Store-Warehouse and Logistics; prepare for auditing.
• Establish a fast-response Procurement team; manage lead times, payment terms and overall costs.
• Coordinate with logistics companies, receiving, customs inspection; ensure Store-Warehouse is organized and functional.
• Collaborate with cross-functional heads and act as an advisory team member within the business.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualification

• Minimum, bachelor’s degree in business management/administration, supply chain management, or relevant working experience in the logistics industry with a manufacturing or engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Fully support the company’s operations, ensuring cost optimization, price controls, inventory management, and zero stoppages.
• To identify, evaluate, shortlist, and expand the supplier networks locally and overseas and maintain the resources needed to establish a cost-effective supply chain.
• Manage, communicate and continuously support the development of the SCM team.
• Enhance, improve, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), for Procurement, Store-Warehouse, Logistics, and prepare for auditing.
• Establish a fast response Procurement team based on operational schedules and other stake holders’ forecast and manage the lead times, payment terms and overall costs.
• Co-ordinate and collaborate with logistics companies including receiving, custom inspection, and ensure the Store-Warehouse is well organized and fully functional at all times.
• To work collaboratively with cross functional heads of department and staff and contribute as an advisory team member within the business organization.
• Performs other ad hoc duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

• Able to communicate effectively in English & Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin a bonus.
• Strong executive level business acumen, good knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, and other related SCM programs.
• High standard of integrity, with a strong moral sense.
