Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing Executive with experience in manufacturing/FMCG to oversee local and overseas procurement, negotiate with vendors, manage PO issuance, and ensure inventory accuracy while complying with FSSC, HACCP, and HALAL standards.

You will handle import/export documentation, arrange shipments, monitor stock, perform supplier evaluations, and generate purchasing reports, liaising with English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin speakers.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG industries.
• Strong vendor negotiation and procurement management skills.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and SST filing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end purchasing activities, including local and overseas procurement.
• Negotiate pricing and select reliable suppliers to ensure reasonable costs.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and resolve non-conformance issues.
• Arrange overseas and local shipments, manage customs declarations and permits.
• Prepare import/export documents (COO, CA, Form E, etc.).
• Monitor stock and perform stock counts; verify shipments against schedule.
• Ensure purchasing processes align with FSSC, HACCP, HALAL standards.
• Data entry for raw materials; perform purchasing reports and administrative duties.

We are seeking a highly responsible Purchasing Executive with experience in the manufacturing/FMCG industry to oversee our local and overseas procurement operations. In this role, you will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, negotiate with vendors, handle import/export documentation, and ensure inventory accuracy while adhering to FSSC, HACCP, and HALAL standards.

Source, negotiate pricing, and select reliable suppliers to ensure reasonable costs.

Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all goods are purchased in compliance with company requirements.

Conduct performance evaluations for new and existing suppliers, and resolve non-conformance issues.

Arrange and manage overseas and local shipments, customs declarations, SST filing, and authority permit applications.

Prepare and handle import/export trade documents (e.g., COO, CA, K1, K2, Form E, Health Certificate).

Monitor stock inventory, participate in stock counts, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against schedule.

Ensure purchasing processes align with FSSC, HACCP, and HALAL quality/safety regulations.

Perform data entry for raw materials and incoming goods received in the system.

Conduct supply chain analysis, prepare purchasing reports, and perform administrative duties (filing, copying, scanning).
