Job summary

YHI International Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships with precision.

You will conduct market research to compare vendors, process purchase orders with China suppliers, monitor stock levels to maintain inventory, ensure quality standards, review contracts, and compile purchasing performance reports.

Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required quality standards.

Handle any discrepancies or issues with received products and coordinate returns or exchanges as necessary.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.

Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, market conditions, and supplier performance.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in any field.

Outstanding organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
