Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Purchasing and Sourcing Associate to manage day-to-day procurement, source suppliers, and negotiate terms to support operational needs. You will monitor supplier performance, maintain records, and ensure timely material availability across departments.
The role requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain, and candidates must be proficient in English and Chinese, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsible for day-to-day purchasing and sourcing activities to achieve cost efficiency and support operational needs.
Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment, and selection based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Maintain supplier performance monitoring and vendor relationship management for continuous improvement.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability to avoid production downtime or late deliveries.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and filing systems.
Support internal departments by understanding material needs and ensuring timely fulfillment.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by a superior or management from time to time.

Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Prior experience in purchasing, logistics, or administrative roles is an advantage.
Fresh graduates are also welcome.
Trilingual: Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Chinese to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with customs procedures, import/export documentation, and tax exemption processes is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.
