Job summary

Frontken Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Kulim, Malaysia to support procurement processes. The role involves preparing purchase orders, coordinating delivery with suppliers, and ensuring invoices and delivery notes are verified with PO support before forwarding to the Accounts department.

Responsibilities include supplier selection, purchasing planning, price reviews, and maintaining organized documentation. ISO-related documentation preparation is also part of the duties.

• Prepare purchase orders for purchased items.
• Ensure PO is accurate and reaches suppliers on time.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery.
• Verify invoices and delivery notes with PO support before handing to Accounts.
• Monitor partial deliveries to ensure full delivery.
• Handle clerical procurement activities: supplier selection, purchasing planning, price reviews.
• Follow up on direct purchase order acknowledgement by vendor.
• Maintain documents in a filing system.
• Handle purchasing duties and activities tactfully and effectively.
• Assist in preparation of ISO related documentation.

Job description

To prepare purchase order for purchased item.

Ensure PO prepared is accurate and reach suppliers on a specific time frame.

Coordinating and corresponding with various suppliers on delivery.

Ensure all invoices and delivery notes verified and with attach Purchase Order support before handover to Account Department.

Monitor and keep track of partial delivery to ensure full delivery complete.

Handle all the clerical works in all spectrums of procurement activities eg, Supplier Selection, Purchasing Planning, Price Reviewing activities, etc.

Follow up on direct purchase order acknowledge by vendor.

Ensure all documents are maintained in good filing system.

To handle all purchasing duties and activities tactfully and effectively.

Assist in the preparation of all ISO related documentations
