Job summary

VY Engineering And Construction Sdn Bhd in Kapar, Selangor is seeking a Procurement Officer. A Diploma and at least 1 year of purchasing experience, preferably in construction, are required. You will source materials, issue purchase orders, and maintain vendor records to ensure timely deliveries.

Strong negotiation, communication and MS Office skills are essential. You will work independently and as part of a team, supporting the purchasing manager and upholding company purchasing policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
• Support the purchasing manager in budget tracking and cost analysis.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and products.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
