Job summary

Sem Matic Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a PSD Assistant Engineer (Production Support and Human Development) to lead cost-saving projects, conduct process audits, and assist operations with work instructions and record-keeping. The role also covers QC defect analysis, containment actions, and root cause investigations while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EQA, ATOMIC, and ISO standards.

Required: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related engineering fields and at least 2 years of experience;

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related engineering fields.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000 & ISO 13485 and other safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on cost savings and process improvement.
• Conduct regular Process Audits (e.g., Layered Process Audits / line compliance checks).
• Assist operation in developing work instructions, records or forms, limit samples, test jigs, fixtures, gauges.

PSD ASSISTANT ENGINEER (PRODUCTION SUPPORT AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT)

Lead projects focused on cost savings and process improvement.

Conduct regular Process Audits (e.g. Layered Process Audits / line compliance checks) to ensure strict adherence to SOPs, Control Plans, and quality standards.

Assist operation in developing work instruction, necessary record or form, limit samples, test jig, fixtures, gauges.

Lead and support Quality Control (QC) defect analysis, containment actions, and root cause investigations on line non-conformances.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer requirements & management system e.g: OSHA, EQA, ATOMIC, ISO's, RBA.

Qualification Requirement:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in related engineering fields

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field

Knowledge in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000 & ISO 13485 management system as well as other quality standards and safety regulatory requirements.
