Job summary

MRD KL is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing production processes, and ensuring PFMEA and Control Plans are in place for new and existing products.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years in manufacturing process engineering, and familiarity with APQP, NPI, and engineering changes. Proficiency in PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing process engineering or related roles.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA; ISO/IATF knowledge.
• Experience with APQP, NPI, process qualification and engineering change activities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, process development, or manufacturing operations.
• Preferable proficiency in use of AUTOCAD or Inventor
• Experience in thermal products, polymer, rubber, silicone, or related manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience supporting APQP, NPI, process qualification, and engineering change activities.
• Well verse in IATF16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
