Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable technician to set up manufacturing machines and handle troubleshooting and repairs. You will assist the production supervisor in meeting quality and production targets and respond swiftly to issues to minimize downtime.

You will maintain minimal inventory, propose quality and productivity improvements, assist in project implementation, monitor machine health, and ensure housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Able to work shift.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO 9001/ISO 14001 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up manufacturing machines and new lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Assist the production supervisor in achieving quality and production targets.
• React quickly to problems to minimize downtime.
• Maintain minimum inventory levels and reorder as needed.
• Provide suggestions for quality and productivity improvements.
• Assist in project implementation and enhancement.
• Monitor machine condition and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Communicate quality and environmental objectives to subordinates.
• Contribute to achieving quality and environmental goals set by management.
• Implement relevant procedures or work instructions in the QMS.
