Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production leader to guide a team on the production floor, monitor performance and optimize processes. Responsibilities include data collection, reporting to management, and driving productivity improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards in line with ISO9001:2015, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001:2015.

The role requires a min degree in Engineering or Science and a minimum of 5 years in a related field, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent.
• Min 5 years working experience in related field.
• Good leadership, communication, problem solving, presentation, planning and organisingskills.
• Proficiency in computer, production system and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lead a team of production staff to achieve objectives set out in departmental.
• Product and Manufacturing Process at Production Floor. Monitor the performance & optimize production.
• Do Analytical Research and Product Development – develop best practices, routines and innovation solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Liaise with QC production to monitor Product Quality and support in troubleshooting and report writing.
• Data collection, interpretation and report writing – presentation of data and reports to management.
• Automation – Look into processes to ensure cost effectiveness & reduce workforce.
• Carry out and monitor production activity according to the production schedule and according to quality standards and technical specification.
• Ensure production expenditure within the budget.
• Ensure availability of resources for smooth and efficiency production run.
• Continuously explore and organize programs for the productivity and quality improvement.
• Identify training needs and source/organize training programs for subordinates.
• People management, manpower planning and disciplinary handling.
• Motivate and promote team spirits amongst subordinates and peers.
• Create a conducive safe work environment and cultivate spirit of "Safety First".
• Ensuring that the quality and environmental management system conforms to the requirement of ISO9001:2015, ISO 45001 & ISO14001:2015.
